Omah

OMAH is a Homeless Shelter located in Jakarta that provides a full-service training program for adults with homelessness. Omah doesn't provide simply just a shelter for people to live in with, they also provide a training system specifically for adults who are financially challenged and want to change their life for the better through the facilities provided by the training program such as woodwork, painting, sewing, cleaning and cooking.

OMAH works with the government creating a program where OMAH’s space is used to train, and after the client has completed the training program, the government will furthermore support them with intern programs and recommendations to restaurants, boutique, cleaning services, and so much more. OMAH also has a system where business owners can come and recruit one of our clients. There is also a volunteer system where people can volunteer to work in the building, help manage the shelter.

The OMAH logo is a building that represents the refuge that we were planned to create utilizing shipping containers that have been left strewn throughout the planet and are simply taking up space. We also used stairs, as they imply the meaning of our will in helping people move forward.
