The Venus Movement

Man-made carbon emissions are taking over our planet, with fossil fuels releasing about 34 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases per year. If we don’t take action soon, the Earth will be gone. However, most find it hard to let go of fossil fuels and are yet to perceive it as threat, and everyone else is tired of this never ending dilemma.

How can we create a symbol that passes through mental and physical borders to unite everyone in the fight against fossil fuel?

Introducing the Venus Movement. Venus is used as a symbol as part of our solution. Using Venus greatly emphasises the imminent danger our planet is facing if we don’t act soon of a planet facing its end. A symbol made of spray paint, glitter, and all kinds of materials to encourage others to mark the symbol on their own.
